What's New

Authorized users of the MN PMP database application will see the following features:

  • Single Check for Liability Statement
    • MN PMP users need only to check the liability acceptance box once within a login session regardless of the number of searches submitted during that session.

  • Default Search Settings Changed
    • In an effort to provide practitioners with better results when performing a query, the default first and last name search settings have been changed to “Begins With”, and the data contained in the report will be sorted by date.  We strongly suggest using on the first 3 letters of the last name and the first 3 letters of the first name when searching as this will return a larger number of individuals of which to choose from.

  • Changes to the Query Report (PDF)
    • The prescriber’s street address and DEA number of the prescriber will no longer be displayed on the Query Report (PDF).
Because these reports are often shown or given to a patient, it was requested this data be removed.

  • On Screen “Alerts” for MN PMP Users
    • MN PMP Staff will now post alerts on the practitioner logon page regarding important information that could affect MN PMP Users, system maintenance or new features. Users will see the alerts once they have logged into the MN PMP (RxSentry) database application.  Users will be required to “confirm” they have read the alert in order to proceed with the query.

  • Update User Information Online
    • Once logged in to the practitioner’s website, approved MN PMP database users can now update their account information online, such as e-mail address, phone number, date of birth, without completing a MN PMP Account Update form. We ask all users to update their information at least once per year.  Updates can be made by selecting “Update User Profile” once you have logged in.

Authorized users of the MN PMP database application will have the ability to:

  • Retrieve your password
    • We all forget our password sooner or later, so we decided to make it more convenient for you to retrieve your password 24 x 7, 365 days a year.  You will find this link once you select “Log in to the RxSentry database” from the MN PMP website.  You must enter the email address you provided during the initial registration process when retrieving your password.  We encourage you to notify us if you have recently changed your preferred email address.  Forms can be found at: Update to RxSentry PMP Account Information

  • Reset your password at anytime
    • Security of the information in the MN PMP database is of the utmost importance; therefore, we have implemented the ability for you to reset/change your password at any time, rather than just once every 60 days.  If you believe your password has been compromised, please make sure you reset/change it immediately.  Resetting you password can be accomplished once you have logged into the MN PMP (RxSentry) database application.

  • Prescriber’s Access to their Prescribing History
    • From time to time, prescribers have asked us to provide them with a report of their prescribing history.  While we have the ability to provide this information, we found that it would be much more useful to the prescriber if they could query the database themselves and for a more finite period of time in order to secure a more manageable report. The prescriber can request information for up to a 12 month period.  This new functionality can be accessed once you, the prescriber, have logged into the MN PMP (RxSentry) database application, and is available 24 x 7, 365 days a year.
